| Information Sheet COMPANY BACKGROUND Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken is a concept restaurant which delivers high quality food to eat-in, take-out customers. We serve a variety of products, including: delicious chicken and fish, fresh salads, home-style buttermilk biscuits, fresh squeezed lemonade, and freshly baked pies. Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken is a California Limited Liability Company with an existing restaurant in the City of Compton. The company was established in October 2000. We are currently hiring for our newest location in downtown Culver City. The Culver City restaurant will open at the beginning of December. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Honey’s Kettle associates are extremely important to the success of the company. We work hard to create a pleasant working environment. Associates receive food allowances for meals, flexible working hours, adequate training, and opportunities for increases. We are looking for energetic people to join our team who enjoy working with people and serving others. Our business is hospitality and the team helps create a welcome and inviting atmosphere in our restaurants. WHAT JOBS ARE AVAILABLE? We are hiring approximately 20 people, including: 8 - Cooks 9 - Customer Service Representatives 3 - Maintenance Assistants QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 16 years of age, reliable and willing to work. Experience is helpful, but not required. We will train. Please note that individuals under the age of 18 must obtain a Work Permit from their School District. PAY Wages will be determined by level of experience. Basic starting wages are $6.75 per hour for individuals with no experience. UNIFORM POLICY Honey’s Kettle associates are required to dress uniformly. Uniforms include white shirts, blue jeans, black shoes and an apron. Associates are likewise required to wear a visor or cap, with the company logo. We will supply the apron and visor or cap. Associates are required to report to work daily with clean shirt, jeans and shoes. We will assist with this effort by providing a small uniform allowance. HOURS OF OPERATION Sunday through Thursday – 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday – 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. TRAINING SCHEDULE Training for new associates will begin soon after the hiring decision has been made. Intensive training will include everything needed to succeed on the job. Schedule to be announced.. |
