Dear Friends:

On the morning of May 28th Honey’s Kettle was forced to interrupt business operations due to damage caused by a freak equipment failure. No one was hurt. The Fire Department acted as the saviors they are. We owe a hand of thanks to Leif, the contractor next door, who helped our crew member Darcy respond. Darcy fought hard, risking injury to take care of the place he so loves. Our neighbors came over to hug us and express their concern.

Most of you know by now, that we are not some giant corporation from another part of the country—rather, we are a family, trying to build that corporation. This, the starship of the company, was four months old, and 18 months in the making. The tremendous response from the Culver City community has truly been astounding. Seems like all kinds of people graced Honey’s Kettle with their presence. We were having great fun watching the baby grow. We learned many of your names and faces, and look forward to seeing you again.

Our agents from Farmer’s Insurance are on the job, and comforting the company during this time. Our dedicated crew will be back with us when we return. We can’t wait to bring our products back to market.

Thanks for your interest. Stay tuned to our website for regular updates.
